Our December 2021 special report on the Great Reset included three end-scenarios for the agenda: the Great Economic Takeover, the Global Authoritarianism and All is Well.

The Great Economic Takeover -scenario depicted the takeover of the economy by the central banks, on which we have been warning for some time (see, e.g., this and this). The implementation of the Great Reset agenda to this would lead to concentration of economic decision making within the global elite, or establishment.

They would, most likely, drive their own political agendas through the “stakeholders” of multinational corporations, i.e., governments and supranational institutions. Through the central bank digital currencies, or CBDCs, they would gain control of society, in all its political, legal and economic realms.

While it sounds rather dystopian, it is not, because a considerably more worrying scenario can be deducted from the Great Reset -agenda. We named it as Global Authoritarianism, but it essentially describes the development of the world into a Global Dystopia. In this blog-entry we present it, that is, our worst-case-scenario where Great Reset could lead us.

A short update before we dig in. We have recently released the GnS Economics newsletter. By subscribing, you support our work.

All is not well

We published the basic building blocks and publicly stated aims of the Great Reset in December and in early September. The All is Well -scenario effectively described the (primary) measures to stop the Great Reset -agenda from progressing.

In the December Special Report 2021, we wrote:

In light of the recent events across the globe, we need to finally grasp the idea that governments cannot be trusted to act benevolently. This is one of the major lessons of history. Governments tend towards corruption especially when they get disproportionate powers. The same tends to happen to major corporations and concentrated economic power, which explains the stated aim of the GR [Great Reset], which is to intertwine corporate and government power through policies like “stakeholder capitalism” which poses a grave threat to economic and individual freedoms.

It also summarized our findings on the agenda, based on publicly available writings on the Great Reset (GR). Current developments imply that we might be proceeding with the GR -agenda, and we might even be heading into the Global Authoritarianism -scenario.

This is why we decided to make it public. Below we present an unredacted version of the Global Authoritarianism -scenario as presented in our December 2021 Special Report. Subtitles have been added for readers comfort and for SEO -engines.

Global Authoritarianism

In this highly disturbing scenario, we assume that the GR agenda is driven by malevolent motives towards the global enslavement of people.

The psychological context of such a scenario rises from the context that ultra-wealthy people, with no interest in money anymore, conspire to take control of the globe—conceivably under to pretext to “save it” economically, politically and environmentally. Some would be playing power games, while others might be involved through altruistic motives of “saving the planet”, etc., which have just taken a very sinister turn. While this may sound far-fetched, recent developments explained above force us to consider also such a dystopian scenario.

Historical examples

History knows many of such examples. For example, in Weimar Germany, in the early 1920s, the elites in the army, the bureaucracy, the judiciary, academia and business wanted to engineer a return to an elite-controlled authoritarian society. The reason? Fear of landowners of losing their lands and the political ‘marginalization’ of the elite through democratization of the German society. This produced ‘tacit’ support by the German elite for the Nazi party leading to one of the most oppressive and destructive regimes the world has ever seen.

Why would the global elite (“globalists”) not dream of such a future for themselves? Why would they not want to rise to control the world, and reclaim it for themselves, as was the case before the rise of the middle-class in the latter stages of the third wave of industrial revolution from the 1990s onwards?

There is no global Nazi party, at least that we know of, but we also cannot claim that there absolutely could not be malevolent groups of high-ranking members of the society pushing for some ‘dark’ agendas empowered by the power grab efforts of the global elite. Such a combination could lead to highly destructive suppressive policies. Considering what is happening in Australia, for instance, can we really say that we are far from such a situation?

The aims?

The aims or objectives of such a ‘global coup’ could include:

  • Total control of economies and societies to impose various political agendas.
  • Full media control and a police state to control public opinion and keep dissidents in check.

A crisis would be needed to push through the first objective. This crisis would need to be so massive that it would create a need for a vast majority of citizens to give up their constitutional rights for economic and personal safety.

Another option would be to exaggerate the severity of the crisis through targeted and wide-spread media propaganda operations. In any case, the majority of the population would need to be driven to a point where they would be unwilling to object to the directives given by their political leaders. Such directives would need to breach the economic and personal freedoms guaranteed by the constitution. When the constitution, which protects the rights of citizens from the tyrannical impulses of their government has been breached, total power would transfer solely to politicians and their influence groups, like the WEF.

The ‘end-game’ could, for example, be the creation of a modern feudal state with just two groups:  the ownership and the working classes. The former would enjoy unlimited travelling and leisure, while the latter would be living in a tedious, grinding and impoverished state made possible by some guaranteed-income scheme.

Where are we heading?

In their book, Klaus Schwab and Thierry Malleret conclude that “dystopian scenarios are not a fatality”. This should act as a warning and lead us to seriously ponder, whether the above-mentioned, highly disturbing scenario could become a reality. At this point it’s impossible to draw any definite conclusions of where we are heading, but serious questions should be raised.

Based on available evidence, the Great Reset aims to take us to the world of extended global co-operation by (massively) increasing the role of big corporations and governments, and there are several routes to this. Energy crisis, for example, is already collapsing the small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s), which are the backbone of middleclass. The response to the crisis in many countries will, most likely, be more government intervention, like we already saw with the German utility-giant Uniper.

Many of the SME’s will, most likely, be bought by local and/or global conglomerates and indebted households are offered more government support. While understandable during a crisis, they will just make citizens more dependent on the government.

Our response?

With multiple crises bearing upon us, we are likely to be at cross-roads. We closed our December 2021 -report with a warning, which is likely to be even more timely now:

All now depends on the reaction of ordinary citizens. If we allow the Great Reset -agenda to be pushed through, we would most likely end up to a some form of Global Dystopia.

Because we do not know the intentions of the ‘global elite’, we do not know whether we would end-up in the Global Economic Takeover or the Global Authoritarianism -scenarios. The best remedy against this threat is to squarely object the transfer of power to the multinational corporations and supra-national entities. We are likely to be in a fight for our liberties!

Godspeed.
